Look what YOU made happen in 2021!

Despite an ongoing pandemic that could have easily sidetracked us - you - our supporters - helped us continue to do this vital work in our community. Here are just a few things that your support made happen in 2021:

  • Our "Makers in their Studios" series featured artists Ryan Adams, jeweler Ebenezer Akakpo, Tandem Coffee's head baker Briana Holt and photographer Smith Galtney.
  • Book Launches including The Secret Lives of Church Ladies by Deesha Philyaw in conversation with Arisa White and We Are Watching Eliza Bright by A.E. Osworth in conversation with Liberty Hardy.
  • Our "Maine Labor History Series," including Shredding Paper: The Rise and Fall of Maine's Mighty Paper Industry with Michael Hillard, Andy O'Brien, and Peter Kellman.

We are grateful to continue offering a space for makers, movers, and thinkers of all ages to gather, celebrate and learn from each other, and your support makes it all possible.

Mechanics' Hall survives through the help of our community, of which you are a truly valued member. Your financial support is vital to our mission. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution today to support our continued programming.

With Gratitude,

Paul Stevens, President of the Board
